Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026 · Last updated: May 2026
The entire privacy policy, summarized
This site collects nothing.
The registration form collects exactly what it needs.
No tracking. No cookies. No analytics. Just your name, callsign, email, and serial number —
if and only if you ask for an unlock code.
The site itself remains blissfully ignorant of your existence.
What Information Do We Collect?
This site: Glad you asked. The answer is a resounding, unambiguous, enthusiastically committed: none. We have no interest in who you are, where you came from, what device you're using, or how long you stared at the download button before clicking it.
For the legally-minded, here is a complete and exhaustive list of what this site does not collect:
- Your name (first, last, middle, or callsign)
- Your email address
- Your IP address
- Your location, city, country, or grid square
- Your browser type, version, or operating system
- Pages visited, time on page, or scroll depth
- Clicks, taps, or mouse movements
- Device identifiers of any kind
- Cookies, session tokens, or local storage
- Anything else we may have forgotten to list above
This list is complete. We did not accidentally leave something out. There is no asterisk.
The registration form (optional): If you choose to request an unlock code by completing the external Google Form, the following items are collected. This is the minimum required to generate and deliver your code — nothing more, nothing else, nothing weird.
- Your full name
- Your amateur radio callsign
- Your email address (so we can actually send you the code)
- Your radio serial number (to bind the license to your hardware)
You are not required to register. Registration is only necessary if you want to unlock the software beyond the trial period. If you never fill out the form, the site never know you were here. That option remains open indefinitely.
Do We Use Cookies?
No. This site contains zero cookies. Not the tracking kind, not the "strictly necessary" kind, not even the kind you can decline in a banner. There is no banner. There is nothing to decline. You're welcome.
Do We Share Your Data With Third Parties?
Sharing implies having something to share. We do not have your browsing data, therefore we cannot share it, sell it, rent it, barter it for ham radio equipment, or accidentally expose it in a breach. This is a remarkably liberating position to be in.
For registration data specifically: it is held solely for the purpose of generating and delivering your unlock code. It is not sold, rented, shared, traded, leaked, or accidentally handed to anyone. Once your code has been delivered, that data serves no further commercial purpose. We are not building a mailing list. We are building a radio controller.
Analytics & Tracking Scripts
None are loaded. No Google Analytics. No Meta Pixel. No third-party scripts phoning home on your behalf. The only external resources this page fetches are the fonts from Google Fonts — and that's just so the text looks nice.
Registration Data & Security
The registration form is hosted on Google Forms, which is subject to Google's own privacy policy for form submissions. We chose Google Forms because it is a known quantity with reasonable security practices — not because we enjoy adding third parties to privacy policies.
Beyond that handshake with Google, registration data is used for exactly one thing: validating and fulfilling your unlock code request. It is not stored in any marketing platform, CRM, drip-email system, or analytics tool. There is no segment. There is no funnel. There is a spreadsheet and a human named Warren.
We are not building a dossier. We are building a radio controller.
How Do We Protect Your Information?
By not collecting it in the first place. This is, in our estimation, the most effective data protection strategy ever devised.
For the small amount of data collected during registration, protection is equally straightforward: we use it for exactly one purpose, tell no one, and resist all temptation to do anything clever with it.
Your Rights
Under various privacy regulations you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Since this site holds none of your personal data, all three rights are already fully satisfied at all times. You're perpetually in compliance with yourself.
If you submitted a registration form and want your information removed, contact Warren via the Groups.io link below. We will delete it. It will not be difficult, and no one will make it weird.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way — say, because we decided to start collecting something — we'll update this page. If you are reading this and it still says we collect nothing, then we still collect nothing.
